Pete is Interim Executive Principal at Queensway Infant Academy and Nursery and Queensway Junior Academy. 

Pete was educated at a comprehensive school in Norfolk and then went on to study Philosophy and Politics at the UEA, where he completed his PGCE. 

Pete’s career has seen him work in both primary and secondary education in England and Scotland. He has fulfilled many different roles during that period of time including caretaker, teaching assistant, head of faculty, vice principal, executive principal, and director of education.

His experience ranges across schools in very challenging social circumstances to highly achieving independent schools. Pete has been a speaker at a number of professional events and written for a number of publications.

In 2021 Pete led Great Yarmouth Primary Academy, one of the most challenging catchments in the county, to be judged as ‘Good’ in all areas with ‘Outstanding’ leadership. He has continued his work to transform education by supporting other primary and secondary schools in his executive role.

Pete believes passionately in inclusive school practices and the power a school culture and curriculum has to transform lives. His work is about engaging and developing a school’s community professionally and pastorally so they can excel.
