Academy Name Change Proposal:

The Inspiration Trust is consulting on the proposal to change the name of Diamond Academy to Queensway Junior Academy by September 2024. The Diamond Academy’s current name has no connection within the community it serves. It was named after the Diamond Jubilee. The choice of Queensway Junior Academy is based on the links to the local area, in particular Queensway Infant Academy which feeds into the Junior Academy.

The academy will have a new logo. There will be a new uniform, which will be funded, so there will be no costs to families. Signage, displays and publicity material will be amended over time.

All comments received by Thursday 28th March 2024 will be considered by the Inspiration Trust Board of Trustees.
