Chris Moon

Chris has a keen interest in developing an inspirational Geography curriculum which enhances the lives of students, equipping them with powerful geographical knowledge and a deep understanding of the disciplinary aspects of the subject. He has worked in various roles in schools in Hampshire, Norfolk and Suffolk improving curricula from Key Stage 1 through to Key Stage 5.

Chris is particularly interested in nuances around sequencing as well as strategic curriculum planning that allows students to develop their skills in literacy, critical thinking and 'thinking like geographers'. He is also passionate about teaching the latest subject developments in the dynamic subject of Geography and providing opportunities for students to study exemplar case studies from a broad range of places around the world which matures their worldview and helps them to grow into responsible global citizens.
