Steph has taught French and Spanish in secondary schools in Norfolk and Suffolk since 2015 and has experience teaching from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 5. During this time she has taken a special interest in curriculum, pedagogy and teacher development. Steph is passionate about the importance of languages in Primary, Secondary schools and at A-Level.

Steph firmly believes in raising the profile of MFL in schools, to help pupils to learn about other cultures and to provide liberation from insularity, by opening pupils' minds to the importance of diversity and of pupils' potential to compete in global workforces and to travel.

Steph has designed curriculum for both French and Spanish from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 5 and continues to shape the curriculum according to the latest developments in the subject. Additionally, Steph has a keen interest in teacher development and has a Masters in Educational Practice and Research and she is a Foundation level certified Coach with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. Steph has also led on NPQ programmes, as well as undertaking NPQ qualifications.
