Inspiration Trust’s new primary school in Cringleford named as Cringleford Prep
BackFollowing a consultation with the public, Inspiration Trust is pleased to announce that its newest school, due to open in September 2024, will be named Cringleford Prep. The new school will cater for up to 420 children and is being built to respond to the rapid growth of Cringleford village as 1,300 new homes are currently being built. The new school is a much needed addition for the families and children of the growing Cringleford village.
Cringleford Prep will be the multi-academy trust’s 18th school and will be headed up and led by Carmel Greene as Founding Principal.
Cringleford Prep will have a focus on academic excellence and promises to provide children with the high-quality curriculum that the Inspiration Trust has become renowned for, opening doors for pupils and encouraging them to be curious about the world around them. Its broad and balanced curriculum will be coupled with an enhanced enrichment programme and promises to support parents and pupils with comprehensive wraparound care.
Carmel Greene, Founding Principal says:
“It has been wonderful meeting with so many parents, carers and members of the Cringleford community throughout this consultation, and for them to have their input on the name. I am hugely excited to lead Cringleford Prep and to develop something truly exceptional that supports both pupils and parents alike.”
Inspiration Trust is also pleased to showcase Cringleford Prep’s logo. Inspired by the well-loved bridge in Cringleford with its mediaeval shield details, the village’s rich history and surrounding green atmosphere.
Cringleford Prep’s logo takes on these shield shapes and combines this with traditional mediaeval designs that consist of swirly motifs and flower decor, which not only play homage to the village’s rich history but to the beautiful nature that surrounds the area and the outdoor learning Cringleford Prep’s pupils will get to experience.
This mediaeval style also overlaps into the The ‘C’ and the ‘P’ for Cringleford Prep which are entwined to create a monogram that reflects the school’s academic promise and traditional values.
Carmel is keen to meet parents and carers ahead of the school opening in September 2024 and will be holding an Open Evening at The Willow Centre on the 31st October 5.30pm - 6.30pm) in Cringleford to discuss her plans for the school in more detail, and provide more information about what the school plans to offer.
