From laying wreaths, delivering readings, to whole school two-minute-silences, and exploring war poetry, schools across the trust united to honour those who paved the way for the many freedoms we have today. Cromer Academy’s wreath, made from recycled cola bottles and willow by its eco enrichment group, was laid on the war memorial as part of the community service, the official wreath for Cromer town.
One of the most striking aspects of the students' participation was just how many donned uniforms from the wide range of community clubs and groups they belong to, including the many cadets, and take part in Remembrance Sunday parades – acting as fantastic ambassadors for their schools and the trust.
