Introduction
King Edward VII Academy (known as KES Academy) is a large, mixed comprehensive secondary school in King's Lynn, with around 1,300 pupils, including 300 students in sixth form education. The school boasts a rich heritage and enjoys a unique place at the heart of the local community, dating back over 500 years.
The academy is housed in a beautiful, historic building, opened by King Edward VII in 1906. Much of the schools original architecture and traditions remain today, including the House System. Countless students have been awarded the opportunities to help them realise their future dreams and aspirations through access to an excellent academic and pastoral education. King Edward VII Academy joined the Inspiration Trust in 2021.
